NomNom Howto
If you are new to this site and you wish to use your own namelists, then please read this first.
Begin at the beginning
For being able to (together) work on a namelist, there are three simple steps to take:
- Create an account
- Create a namelist
- Invite others
You can do this by clicking on here. The wizard will take you through the three steps. After completion of the three steps you can start immediately.
MyNomNom: your own page
For an overview of the namelists you have access to, you can visit your very own MyNomNom-pagina. Move your mouse over the icons in the coloured boxes to see what you can do from this page.
To see your own MyNomNom page you should be logged in. If you are not yet logged in, the login-page will show first, after which you will be redirected to your MyNomNom page.
Listowner
When you create a list you become its owner. Only the owner of a list can invite others to participate, or revoke an invitation. Changing details of the list is also only possible for the owner of the list. The listowner can do all this from his or her own MijnNomNom-page.
Invited?
If you have received an invitation by email then you click the link in the email to confirm your participation. After you have provided the details for your own account and a password you can participate in the list. Obviously, it is possible you receive an invitation when you are already participating in a list. If this is the case there is no need to create a new account. The list is simply added to the other lists you have access to in your own MijnNomNom-page.
Privacy
Others cannot see when making a list that the persons they are inviting are already participating in a list. Also, a listowner (creator) does not receive an indication whether an invitation was or was not accepted. When the invitation was send to an invalid or not existing address is also not reported. On top of this, NomNom does absolutely nothing with your email address. You will not receive mail from us, other than notifications you yourself configured on your account. Your details are not being passed on to other organizations.
Your privacy is therefore guaranteed at NomNom!
